The entire country of Haiti is focused on what seems to be an unfolding comic soap opera: a recently escaped zombie tells his story to the media and professes his love for a woman. A female reporter follows the story closely. Through her report, she discovers how a group of politicians have decided to exploit the zombie’s popularity. They propel him as a presidential candidate, but do so without thinking about the ambitions and seductive powers of the “Baron Samedi,” the lord of the cemeteries.
